Pulsen wins!

After a long evening of CPMA 1v1 action we managed to come to the finals around midnight. The final standings:

1. Pulsen
2. Anatase
3. glin

I want to thank everyone for playing and being nice. I've seen a lot of close games and hardly one-sided games.

This was our biggest cup so far with 32 newbies facing each other, and the increase in size has given me some ideas how I will handle in the fututre.
Next time the signups will open right before the tournament starts so there's less hassle removing signups. I'll open two tournaments for two skill levels and people can pick the one they like themselves.

If you liked the tournament and CPM and want to taste some if the team action check out #cpmpickup on QuakeNet and !add for one of the gamemodes available. It might be a little bit harder to start so you might want to read some of the docs available at the Wiki for Capture the Flag and Team Deathmatch.

Last but not least an awesome CPM movie by Xan, member of CPM Clan Noobs Anonymous. Click here.

Next cup in two weeks so keep an eye open for the announcement!

Because of the large number of signups I will make two seperate tournaments.

There's some players who are still not average yet but probably do a lot better than most of the other sign ups so I'll put them in a seperate tournament.

From experience I can say a lot of people dont show up despite signing up so even though we're at 42 players I think eventually we wont see more than 32 people show up.

Two tournaments
-One for the more slightly more experienced
-One for the real starters.

I'll do this on my own but if you have any preferences about what tournament you should be in just leave them in the comments section here.
